The Art Of Presence

This world’s existence is one night long.

There’s a great lively gathering that night, but some people sleep through it.

PRESENT

Yoga teachers and yoga lovers benefit from creative, innovative, anatomy-enhanced, holistic practices infused with embodied somatics for greater self-awareness and physical well-being.

Expect something different when you hit the mat with me. Unique, atypical, practices make it possible to connect with your senses in uncommon ways.

A somatic guide, I work deeply to deconstruct and reconstruct your physical and emotional patterns to help you move and live with more freedom.

Finely tune body awareness with a mix of somatic tools, biomechanics, mobility drills, and self-myofascial release techniques. A vinyasa wizardess, look forward to strong, transformative, and sweaty sequences.

A Dancer in my past life, I share the wisdom of movement through Yoga inspired practices. I believe it is important for us to inhabit our being on all levels, physical, mental, and emotional. Yoga is a key tool to unleash the wild spirit living under the layers of our nature. Ignite the fire in your belly and pave a path ahead that serves this Life you have been given.

Your "on the mat" practice will start to serve your "off the mat" practice... aka "daily life", as you move towards a more conscious way of living. Transform your daily grind into a more healthy, happy, authentic, and gratifying life. Watch your inner strength grow to reveal your outer grace.

PAST

I met Sadie Nardini circa 2008 and never looked back. A Master teacher trainer in Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga® and Yoga Shred® styles by founder, Sadie Nardini, I spent five years teaching 200HR and 300HR CSV Yoga® trainings. Now, I focus offerings on specialized continuing education trainings for existing yoga teachers to deepen their teaching, and practice, with all the things you don’t learn in 200HR/300HR yoga teacher trainings.

While in NYC during my yoga teacher studies, I found Jill Miller and have been studying with her since 2009. Currently, a certified Yoga Tune Up® fitness instructor, you can find all things Tune Up Fitness® incorporated into my teaching style.

Never thinking I'd become teacher... here I am finding and expressing my voice in ways I never imagined. Life tends to teach us what we need to know with all its winding roads and slippery slopes… and I am starting to trust this path a little more. Moving forward in service of self-love is a radical act. Authentic self-expression is a radical act. This is what I want to share with you.

DISTANT PAST

A big part of my life was devoted to contemporary dance and choreography. After graduating from Concordia University with a BFA Major in Contemporary Dance in 1998, I pursued a vibrant career with Montréal choreographers Isabelle Choinère, Tammy Forsythe, and Mary Ann Lacey touring in Europe, South America, United States and Canada. In 2010, I formed Rented Bodies Dance to focus on my own creations. My solo work has been presented in Montréal, Toronto, Vancouver, Portugal, and New York City.

In 2010, a series of events drove me to transition from the vinyasa of my dance career to the vinyasa of my life. Somatics yoga-inspired practices has become the medium for my artistic expression. My mission is to help people live better in their bodies.

Born and raised in Montréal, the city I call home, I have been teaching yoga since 2007, and somatic movement practices since 1995.

Now, I am looking forward to meeting you.
